Club Interchanges

All skill levels are invited to share the wonderful social tennis experience with your club members. Players from both clubs are mixed and matched over four rounds of doubles play (mixed & men’s/ladies’) so that you are not playing with the same person all day.  Meeting new players in a nice social atmosphere plus great food & drink has proven to be a successful formula for this club activity.

All skill levels are invited to share the wonderful social tennis experience with your partner members. LTC Members are encouraged to play more than one exchange event. We have invited Salt Spring Island Tennis Club (SSITC) and Bear Mountain Tennis Club (BMTC) to participate with us this year.
Here are the planned dates for you to participate:

  1. Saturday, July 13th (1:30 - 3:30 pm) –  LTC visits BMTC (18 LTC Players and 6 BMTC players, 6 courts)
  2. Tuesday, August 6th (11:00 a.m. start)  – LTC visits SSITC (4 Women/4 Men required per club)
  3. Tuesday, August 13th (11:00 a.m. start) – SSITC visits LTC (4 Women/4 Men required per club)

Lunches with SSITC will be provided by the hosting club. LTC members are requested to pay $12.00 to help with purchase of lunches when we host the event. BMTC is arranging for a venue on site where we can enjoy drinks and snacks with them after play.  Please e-mail Natexa Verbrugge at if you are interested in participating or require further information about the interclub exchanges.
