All skill levels are invited to share the wonderful social tennis experience with your club members. Players from both clubs are mixed and matched over four rounds of doubles play (mixed & men’s/ladies’) so that you are not playing with the same person all day. Meeting new players in a nice social atmosphere plus great food & drink has proven to be a successful formula for this club activity.

A Ladies Doubles tournament named after a much loved English member Sonja Young who succumbed to cancer at the start of 2010. This tournament mixes players of all abilities so that more experienced players are paired with novice or less experienced players. The tennis is followed by a traditional English tea and all players are encouraged to bring an offering - cucumber sandwiches, strawberries and cream or jam and scones are all welcome.
